The previous name of this academy was NTRAMS which stands for “National Training and Research Academy for Multilingual Shorthand” . It was established in 1982, at Bogura, for developing Secretarial Science and business management education system in Bangladesh. NACTAR, which stands for “National Academy for Computer Training And Research”. It is Established after the NTRAMS abolished in 2005. It is an autonomous institution under the ministry of education, the peoples Republic of Bangladesh.
From June 2018 I am working here as a Deputy Director. My full name is NASIR UDDIN SHEIKH.
Aims and Object of NACTAR:
Aims and objectives
- To conduct research, education and training program on computer technology and to enhance its improvement.
- To prepare, conduct and evaluate computer training syllabus for the personnel engaged in the government, semi government, autonomous and non government institution of Bangladesh.
- To evaluate and award Diploma and certificates among the persons who have completed the training and educational courses offered by the academy.
- To fix fees for the training courses, examination and Diploma and certificates organized by the academy.
- To arrange Training & Research program on computer technology and ICT according to the demand of the public and private organization of Bangladesh.
